TechPro Institute recently participated in the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Orientation Programme for the 2026 Batch 'A' Stream I, held in Osun State.
At the programme, Oladuntoye Mojeed Oluwaseun, General Manager of TechPro Institute Nigeria, delivered an inspiring and impactful session to corps members, drawing deeply from his personal life journey and professional experience.
The Power of Intentional Growth
During the session, Mr. Oladuntoye spoke on the critical importance of intentional skill acquisition, consistency, and self-development as key drivers for success after the service year.
Using his background in technology as a practical example, he emphasized that while career paths may differ, the underlying principle remains the same across all SAED tracks: skills create opportunities.
He encouraged corps members to shift their perspective on the NYSC year:
"Do not see the NYSC year as a waiting period. See it as a foundation-building phase; a unique window where practical skills can be developed alongside personal discipline and resilience."
An Engaging and Interactive Session
The session was highly interactive, with corps members actively engaging through questions and practical discussions. Their enthusiasm reflected a strong, shared interest in preparing for sustainable careers and entrepreneurship beyond their service year.
TechPro Institute Nigeria extends its sincere appreciation to the NYSC Osun State Secretariat for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to youth empowerment and capacity building in the state.
We remain deeply committed to supporting initiatives that equip young people with the relevant, high-demand skills needed to power the future.
